In her post, Siwa described the past few days as “an eventful weekend” and thanked fans for their “well wishes and prayers.” She added, “I’m happy to say I’m doing a bit better, I’m not in the clear yet, but feeling better and doing well!” Siwa also revealed she experienced “a bit of a scare with a fever the night after I went to the hospital,” but noted that she has been fever-free since.

The singer first explained what happened in a TikTok video posted over the weekend. “Every time that I've been dancing for the last couple of days or even just like walking like anything, my stomach would just really, really hurt,” she said. When the pain intensified Friday morning, she tried resting before realizing she “couldn't breathe” and nearly blacked out. After calling 911, she was taken to the hospital where doctors discovered “one of my ovaries had a cyst on it that burst and was bleeding into my stomach.”
Siwa noted she will need a follow-up exam in one week but plans to keep working in the meantime. “We’re going to keep it pushing,” she said, adding that she’ll return to the hospital immediately if the pain flares again.
