The tour bus rolled on this Sunday night on The Road. This week, the six remaining country singers handpicked by Blake Shelton, Taylor Sheridan and Keith Urban put on an acoustic performance to honor the military at The Hall in Little Rock, AR. Each artist performed a cover song and an original.
Blake was unable to make the concert, so guest judge Jordan Davis joined Keith and “tour manager” Gretchen Wilson in critiquing the artists.

At the end of the night, the bottom two vote getters were supposed to be assessed by Jordan and Keith. But a last-minute twist threw everything into jeopardy. The grand prize for winning The Road is a slot at Stagecoach, a recording contract and $250,000.

I really thought it was a great job overall and the originals were good, the cover choices were really good, it’s so hard letting anybody go. We were thinking because you guys all did good tonight, we’re not going to send anyone home. But what’s going to happen with that is that next week, we have to say goodbye to two people. We’ll see who brings it. Congratulations on tonight.”
The Road will air Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS and stream next day on Paramount+.
