MENDON, N.Y. — A special Christmas tree sale took place at Zoey Tree Farm in Mendon on Sunday, Nov. 30, with all proceeds benefiting the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Customers at the farm had the opportunity to create custom stockings for children at the hospital.
Patrick Flint, the owner of Zoey Tree Farm, shared the personal reason behind their charitable efforts.
“We had twin girls in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit). They were born three months early, both with heart problems. One came home with us, one passed away unfortunately and we have done this for the last ten years in honor of Zoe,” Flint said.
If you missed the sale, it will take place again next weekend, on Dec. 6 and 7.
