HENRIETTA, N.Y. — The Henrietta Fire District shared photos on Facebook of crews helping out a dog in Henrietta on Thursday.
In the post, Henrietta Fire said one of its companies was flagged down on West Henrietta Road by a distraught man from out of town traveling with his dog.
The man’s best friend suddenly got seriously sick, and he didn’t know where to go, according to the post. Henrietta fire crews, along with members from CHS Mobile Integrated Healthcare, calmed the man down and cared for the dog.
“In a world that can feel heavy with negativity sometimes, moments like these remind us what this work—and this community—is really about. Strangers stepping up for strangers (and their furry family members) when it matters most,” Henrietta Fire said in the post.
