Dancing With the Stars pair Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas were sent home during the semi-finals of season 34. According to the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, however, she never even thought she'd make it that far.
"I'm gonna be honest with you. I never thought I was winning Dancing with the Stars," Leavitt told Alex Cooper during the Wednesday, November 26, episode of "Call Her Daddy." "I really didn't."
Ballas added, "We really knew that, we knew that."
The reality star -- who was open about her desire to join the dancing competition series -- explained that she simply "wanted that experience."
"We knew that from the beginning," she laughed. "I would hope that anyone that had a dream or something that they want in their life or experience that they want, that they would go after it."
Despite being at the top of the leaderboard throughout the season, Leavitt and Ballas did not have the votes to carry them to the finals, which Leavitt speculated could have been because of season 3 of Secret Lives.
"It was such a huge divide. Like, you either really loved me for that or you really hated me for that," she told Cooper. "So, maybe it swayed some people."
Ballas was hesitant to point fingers at the Momtok drama that played out on the Hulu series, instead saying, "I think with such a stacked cast and really great talent, great talent all around, you get to the point where we don't know the votes."
Ultimately, Robert Irwin and his partner, Witney Carson, took home the Mirrorball Trophy on Tuesday, November 25.
