2025 RMDA LEGENDS OF COACHING

November 6-9, 2025 La Mirada, Calif. SCY (25 yards) Results on Meet Mobile: “2025 Legends of Coaching Series_Peter Daland”

Fifteen-year-old Gabi Brito delivered a pair of standout performances at the RMDA Legends of Coaching meet earlier this month in La Mirada, Calif., moving into the top 20 all-time in the girls’ 15-16 age group.

During the first full day of racing on Friday, Brito went head-to-head in the 200 IM with La Mirada Armada’s Kayla Han, and the two both set new personal best times in what was an exciting race.

After Brito led through the 150, Han closed the gap coming home and ultimately touched first in 1:55.74, improving on her previous best of 1:57.27 set in November 2024. Han, 17, moves into 36th all-time in the girls’ 17-18 age group with the performance, and also #2 this season behind Cal freshman Teagan O’Dell (1:55.19).

Brito was just two one-hundredths back in 1:55.76, erasing her previous best of 1:56.39 set last December en route to moving into 16th all-time and 1st this season in the girls’ 15-16 age group.

On the final day of the meet, Brito set another personal best in the 100 free, ripping a time of 48.08 to shatter her eight-month-old PB of 48.75 and climb to 13th all-time and 2nd this season in the girls’ 15-16 age group.

Brito also won the 50 free in a season-best time of 22.30, and took 4th in the 400 IM (4:14.95). In the 50 free, she ranks 3rd this season among 15-16 girls, while her 400 IM swim ranks her 7th.

Han won every individual event she contested, adding victories in the 200 free (1:46.77), 500 free (4:38.40), 1000 free (9:31.06), 1650 free (15:58.99), 200 fly (1:56.97) and 400 IM (4:04.60) to go along with the 200 IM–all marked season-bests, though in all but the 200 free and 1000 free, it was her first time swimming the event in 2025-26.

In the seasonal rankings, Han now ranks 1st for 17-18 girls in the 400 IM, 2nd in the 1000 and 1650 free, 4th in the 500 free, 9th in the 200 fly and 16th in the 200 free.

Another headliner at the meet was Brea Aquatics’ Adalyn Lee, 14, who went six-for-six in personal best times and moved up in the all-time rankings (top 100) in four of them.

The top swim for Lee came in the 400 IM, where she dropped two seconds from her previous best (4:14.38) to clock 4:12.32, moving her up from 32nd to 14th all-time in the girls’ 13-14 age group.

She also moved to 46th all-time in the 1000 free (9:49.20), 53rd in the 200 breast (2:14.43) and 60th in the 200 IM (2:00.39) while adding bests in the 500 free (4:52.08) and 200 back (1:58.74).

The Dolphins Portland Swimming’s Andrew Eubanks, a 17-year-old Tennessee commit, set a personal best time of 52.84 en route to winning the 100 breast, moving him into a tie for 61st all-time in the boys’ 17-18 age group.
