The next edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is less than 80 days away and the International Cricket Council (ICC) is yet to announce the complete schedule. Sri Lanka, meanwhile, sit in a group loaded with three other Test teams, namely Australia, Zimbabwe and Ireland plus Oman. England and West Indies are stuck with Bangladesh and a dangerous Nepal unit. South Africa’s cluster featuring New Zealand and Afghanistan adds to the number of groups that will feel like elimination rounds from the start.
India begin their campaign against USA before facing Namibia, Pakistan and the Netherlands. Colombo will host the India vs Pakistan clash on February 15, while Ahmedabad is in line to host the final unless Pakistan qualify.
