A 21-year-old man was arrested after he was clocked going more than 130 mph Tuesday night on the U.S 34 Bypass in Greeley.
Vicente Pena was arrested on a felony charge of eluding and misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment, reckless driving and speeding, among other offenses, arrest records show.
The sheriff’s office located the Camaro around 4 a.m. the next day in Loveland. A deputy identified Pena as the driver and arrested him, the release states.
He is being held at the Weld County Jail on $7,500 bond. The Weld County District Attorney’s Office has until 3:30 p.m. Friday to officially file the charges.
