Oct. 25
6:15 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address called requesting a ride home. She said she had been told in the past to call police when she needed a ride.
10:45 p.m.: A caller at a coffee shop in the 2000 block of 16th Street reported a “very polite man” had been at the store for the past two days and kept falling asleep.
Oct. 26
2:15 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported his daughter hit a dog in a traffic crash, and the owner of the dog was harassing them over vet bills.
3:45 a.m.: A caller at convenience store in the 1000 block of 39th Avenue reported a man in the bathroom was refusing to leave after being asked several times. Officers responded and dispatch notes indicated the man liked one of the officers “a lot.”
5:45 a.m.: A caller in the 1200 block of 10th Street reported a car parked in front of the house. Someone kept honking the horn and the caller believed whoever was inside was drunk.
Oct. 27
8:15 p.m.: A caller at a downtown business reported a man had been kicked out six times in the past 48 hours but kept coming back. The man had gotten sneakier, waiting until nobody was looking and running inside to a booth.
10:15 p.m.: A caller in the 3700 block of 25th Street reported a cat had been crying outside her house for the past two hours. An officer responded and said the “cat ran under a vehicle and hissed at me.”
Oct. 28
6:00 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported squatters had moved into their neighbors house after her neighbors were arrested.
10:30 a.m.: A caller in the 3000 block of 10th Street reported he was a Lyft driver and a very drunk man was refusing to get out of his vehicle. Police learned a friend had booked the Lyft for the man, but didn’t book it as a round trip, leading to the man’s confusion.
Oct. 29
2:15 a.m.: A caller reported hitting a deer on his way to work. The caller believed the deer was dead because its tongue was sticking out of its mouth.
4:15 a.m.: A caller at an assisted living facility in the 2700 block of Reservoir Road reported a suspicious vehicle that had been parked in the lot for a few hours. She called back shortly after to report that it was her boss’s car.
5:15 p.m.: A caller in the 2400 block of 10th Avenue reported a man walked past her window wearing two of her blankets.
