HORNELLSVILLE, N.Y. — A man from Hornell in Steuben County has been arrested after State Police say he intentionally hurt a cat.
State Police say it happened on Nov. 2 in Hornellsville. State Police in Hornell got a report of someone seeing a man purposely hurting a cat.
After an investigation, State Police say the man was identified as Deshawn Miller, 28. He was arrested on Nov. 6 and charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
Miller was released on an appearance ticket. The cat, “Mister,” was treated at the Cornell University Hospital for Animals and is expected to make a full recovery.
