In a scrappy early-season battle between a pair of college basketball juggernauts, Arizona’s Koa Peat continued to put the rest of the NCAA on notice with something you can’t teach: pure athleticism.
With a narrow 31-30 lead and under three minutes remaining in the first half against No. 3 UConn on Wednesday, Peat jumped into a pile of Huskies following a short-range miss by senior Jaden Bradley.
When Peat’s first volleyball-like tap with his left hand didn’t find the bucket, he quickly leaped up once more and finished with his right.

At the half, which the No. 4 Wildcats ended with a 35-33 lead in Connecticut, Peat had nine points on 4-of-8 shooting and seven rebounds — four of them being on the offensive glass.
He also added two assists and two blocks.
