Women’s 100 Butterfly — Prelims
NCAA Record: 46.97 — Gretchen Walsh, UVA (2025) SEC Record: 48.51 — Maggie McNeil, LSU (2023) NCAA Standard: 52.52 2025 NCAA Invite Time: 51.87Top 8 Qualifiers:
Emily Jones (BAMA) – 52.06 Sofia Sartori (LSU) – 52.25 Grace Rabb (FLOR) – 52.59 Gaby Van Brunt (BAMA) – 52.80 Beatriz Bezerra (FLOR) – 53.05 Zoe Carlos-Broc (LSU) – 53.07 Izzy Beu (UGA) – 53.09 Catie Choate (FLOR) – 53.15Alabama’s Emily Jones grabbed the top spot in the heats of the women’s 100 fly after putting up a time of 52.06 from the fourth heat, putting her 19 one-hundredths clear of Louisiana State’s Sofia Sartori.
Jones’ best time remains the 51.62 she swam to take 10th at last season’s SEC Championships, but it was her first time swimming the event this season so it technically checks in as a new season best.
Sartori, a senior, clocked 52.25 to advance in 2nd, just over seven-tenths off her season-best (and personal best) of 51.51, while Florida freshman Grace Rabb posted a time of 52.59 to lower her previous best of 52.84 from the 2023 Winter Junior Championships — her first improvement in the event in nearly two years.
Alabama junior Gaby Van Brunt was the only other woman to crack 53 seconds, logging 52.80 to qualify fourth, just over a half second shy of her 52.19 season best. Her lifetime best is the 51.68 she notched to take fourth at the 2025 SECs.
It was a tight race between the rest of the field for spots into the final, with finishers 5th through 13th separated by just 18 one-hundredths.
Men’s 100 Butterfly — Prelims
NCAA Record: 42.80 — Caeleb Dressel, Florida (2018) SEC Record: 42.80 — Caeleb Dressel, Florida (2018) NCAA Standard: 46.11 2025 NCAA Invite Time: 45.12Top 8 Qualifiers:
Josh Liendo (FLOR) – 44.12 Luca Urlando (UGA) – 44.69 Michel Arkhangelskiy (FSU) – 45.18 Ruard Van Renen (UGA) – 45.66 Scotty Buff (FLOR) – 46.02 Sam Bork (FSU) – 46.15 Tim Korstanje (BAMA) – 46.50 Stephen Jones (GTCH) – 46.73Florida senior Josh Liendo threw down in the heats of the men’s 100 fly, blasting a time of 44.12 from the final heat to claim the top seed into tonight’s final. He just missed his season-best of 43.87 from the UF vs. Georgia dual meet in late October.
The two-time defending NCAA Champion has been as quick as 43.06 in the event, which ranks him as the #2 performer of all time, and has been on the cusp of breaking Caeleb Dressel’s 2018 NCAA record of 42.80 for the past two years. He’s coming off breaking the SCM world record in this event last month.
Georgia junior Luca Urlando, who touched third in this event at last season’s NCAAs with his PB of 43.49, also broke 45 seconds at 44.69, undercutting his season-best of 44.94 from mid-October by just over two-tenths.
Florida State sophomore Michel Arkhangelskiy rounded out the top three qualifiers at 45.18, lowering his season-best by six-tenths. His PB is the 44.36 he swam for runner-up honors at last season’s ACC Championships.
Women’s 400 IM — Prelims
NCAA Record: 3:54.60 – Ella Eastin, Stanford (2018) SEC Record: 3:58.23 – Sydney Pickrem, Texas A&M (2019) NCAA Standard: 4:13.20 2025 NCAA Invite Time: 4:09.53Top 8 Qualifiers:
Ieva Maluka (UGA) – 4:10.13 Julie Brousseau (FLOR) – 4:11.37 Sydney Sanders (BAMA) – 4:12.82 Elizabeth Tilt (UGA) – 4:14.30 Sofia Plaza (FLOR) – 4:15.35 Nicole Santuliana (LSU) – 4:17.12 Camille DeBoer (FLOR) – 4:17.54 Kate Christian (BAMA) – 4:18.46Georgia senior Ieva Maluka was the fastest women’s 400 IMer in the water this morning, coming to the wall at 4:10.13 to advance first into the final by just over a second.
Maluka’s time of 4:10.13 dipped under her previous personal and season-best of 4:10.50 from a dual meet versus Florida last month and keeps her as the 16th-fastest in the NCAA so far this season.
Canadian native and Florida sophomore Julie Brousseau was the second-quickest swimmer at 4:11.37, while Alabama junior Sydney Sanders (4:12.82) was the only other swimmer to break 4:14.
Brousseau was about three seconds off her season-best of 4:08.69 from the aforementioned UGA vs. UF dual meet, and her PB remains the 4:04.21 she swam to claim 5th at the SEC Championships last February.
Sanders’ 4:12.82 just missed her 4:12.66 best time from SECs, but it was her first time swimming the event so far this season, so with the rust shaken off, a PB could be on the horizon in tonight’s final.
Men’s 400 IM — Prelims
NCAA Record: 3:28.82 — Leon Marchand, Arizona State (2023) SEC Record: 3:33.42 — Chase Kalisz, Georgia (2017) NCAA Standard: 3:46.19 2025 NCAA Invite Time: 3:41.61Top 8 Qualifiers:
Drew Hitchcock (UGA) – 3:42.61 Finn Hammer (UGA) – 3:43.36 Cale Martter (UGA) – 3:43.81 Eric Brown (FLOR) – 3:44.88 Mathias Christensen (FSU) – 3:45.58 Charlie Hutchison (FLOR) – 3:46.70 Lance Johnson (BAMA) – 3:48.21 Giovanni Linscheer (FLOR) – 3:48.33The men’s 400 IM was the UGA show as they swept the top three qualifying spots for tonight’s final. Sophomore Drew Hitchcock led the way with a time of 3:42.61, while freshman Finn Hammer (3:43.36) and senior Cale Martter (3:43.81) also checked in with sub-3:44 swims.
The trio all smashed their respective season bests and now rank third, fifth, and seventh in the NCAA so far this season, with chances to improve with another swim in tonight’s ‘A’ final.
Outside of SBs, Hammer demolished his 3:48.60 personal best from the UGA vs. UF dual meet. Hitchcock owns a PB of 3:39.55, clocked en route to placing 11th at last year’s NCAA meet, while Martter’s best of 3:40.53 dates back to March 2024’s Pac-12 Championships when he was representing Arizona State.
Florida also advanced three swimmers into tonight’s final, with Eric Brown (3:44.88) qualifying 4th, Charlie Hutchison (3:46.70) sixth, and Giovanni Linscheer (3:48.33) eighth, with FSU’s Mathias Christensen (3:45.58) and Alabama’s Lance Johnson (3:48.21) sandwiched between them at 5th and 7th.
Women’s 200 Freestyle — Prelims
NCAA Record: 1:39.10 — Missy Franklin, Cal (2015) SEC Record: 1:40.90 — Bella Sims, Florida Georgia (2024) NCAA Standard: 1:45.53 2025 NCAA Invite Time: 1:44.74Top 8 Qualifiers:
Kennedi Dobson (UGA) – 1:42.63 Marie Landreneau (UGA) – 1:43.84 Giovana Reis (GTCH) – 1:45.60 Lainy Kruger (FLOR) – 1:45.68 Shea Furse (UGA) – 1:45.89 Megan Barnes (LSU) – 1:46.24 Ioana-Marie Stirbu (FSU) – 1:46.78 Maysa Ratiu (FSU) – 1:47.02Kennedi Dobson continues to impress in her freshman year at Georgia. After ripping a 200 free best time of 1:43.40 at the South Carolina vs. Georgia dual meet in early October, she led the prelims this morning with a lifetime-best 1:42.40. She now ranks 7th in the NCAA this season, up from her previous slot of 11th.
Dobson, who came into the season with a best time of 1:44.07, has caught fire early in her debut campaign with the Bulldogs, having already clocked best times of 4:33.61 and 15:47.68 in the longer freestyle races, the latter of which was notched to win the mile yesterday.
It was a 1-2 qualification punch for UGA as sophomore Marie Landreneau logged a time of 1:43.84 to represent as the only other swimmer to crack 1:45. She was well under her season-best 1:44.91 and within striking distance of her 1:43.32 best time from this same meet last year, a mark that could be on her mind for the final.
Giovana Reis of Georgia Tech clocked a time of 1:45.60 to advance third, just off her personal and season bests of 1:45.20, just eight hundredths ahead of Florida’s Lainy Kruger, with another Georgia Bulldog Shea Furse breaking 1:46 at 1:45.89 to move through in fifth.
LSU’s Megan Barnes (1:46.24) and FSU teammates Ioana-Marie Stirbu (1:46.78) and Maysa Ratiu (1:47.02) will comprise the rest of the championship final.
Men’s 200 Freestyle — Prelims
NCAA Record: 1:28.33 — Luke Hobson, Texas (2025) SEC Record: 1:29.48 — Kieran Smith, Florida (2021) NCAA Standard: 1:33.93 2025 NCAA Invite Time: 1:32.27Top 8 Qualifiers:
Tomas Koski (UGA) & Logan Robinson (FSU) – 1:33.02 N/A Aiden Norman (FLOR) – 1:33.68 Jere Hribar (LSU) – 1:33.85 Ahmed Jaouadi (FLOR) – 1:33.95 Simon Meubry (LSU) – 1:34.32 Tommy Hagar (BAMA) – 1:34.42 Ricky Balduccini (GTCH) – 1:34.57There were co-top qualifiers in the men’s 200 free as Georgia senior Tomas Koski and Florida State sophomore Logan Robinson posted matching 1:33.02s in the final heat.
Koski won this event a year ago with a time of 1:31.72, and has already been faster than that this meet as he led off UGA’s 3rd place 800 free relay with a time of 1:31.42. His personal best remains the 1:30.70 he swam en route to 4th at SECs last season.
Robinson, more known for his 200 fly prowess, obliterated his former best time of 1:35.27. His time this morning was foreshadowed last night when he anchored FSU to a win and new school record in the 800 free relay with a split time of 1:31.12, signaling that he is focusing on this event in his second year with the Seminoles.
Florida sophomore Aiden Norman (1:33.68), LSU junior Jere Hribar (1:33.85), and Florida freshman Ahmed Jaouadi (1:33.95) also broke 1:34 to advance to the final ranked 3rd through 5th, all clocking season bests to boot.
Norman eclipsed his lifetime-best 1:35.11, while Hribar was less than a second shy of the 1:32.91 PB he popped at the 2024 SECs. Jaoudadi, in his fourth ever 200 SCY free, dropped his best time of 1:35.79 from early October.
LSU’s Simon Meubry (1:34.32), Alabama’s Tommy Hagar (1:34.42), and Ricky Balduccini (1:34.57) also advanced in the final three spots.

Freshman Grace Rabb rounded out the top three with a near sub-one minute result of 1:00.00.
Earlier in the season, Bottazzo swam an NCAA-leading 56.87 at a dual meet versus Virginia, a time that would have placed second at the NCAA Championships in 2024. At the same meet, the Florida sophomore unleashed a monstrous 55.96 split on the Gator 400 medley relay, becoming just the third woman to go sub-56 in the 100 breast from a flying start.
Mayne broke a minute for the first time this season and came two tenths shy of her 58.68 career best from this same meet two years ago.
Rabb was just a tenth shy of her December 2024 PB of 59.90.

FSU senior Tommaso Baravelli joined the Georgia sophomore under 52 this morning at 51.91, shaving his 53.58 season best and narrowly missing his 51.80 career best from the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational at this time last year.
The Tigers’ Volodymyr Lisovets swam his second-fastest time of the season, advancing 3rd at 52.60; his season best is 52.13, and his personal best of 51.86 was set when he placed 7th at the 2025 SECs.
Georgia Tech’s Joao Caballero (52.67) and Florida’s Aleksas Savickas (52.74) also cracked 53 seconds to qualify fourth and fifth, respectively. Alabama claimed the next two spots with Noah Saylor (53.13) and Steijn Louter (53.37) advancing sixth and seventh, while FSU’s Lleyton Arnold (53.60) rounded out the qualifiers.
