Fans were convinced they were about to witness the crossover event of the decade: Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce, together, on their husbands' Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast, New Heights. Turns out, the NFL brothers had other plans.
Earlier this week, the New Heights Instagram account teased a special episode airing Monday, Nov. 24, teasing the event by posting two silhouetted female figures.
"Tune in to tomorrow’s episode to find out which special guests are making their New Heights debut next week ?," the caption read.
Fans insisted that the mystery women had to be Swift and Kylie. Swifts were quick to notice, however, the keyword: debut. Given that they both have appeared on the podcast (Swift's episode set a Guinness World Record for most simultaneous YouTube views for a podcast), it was clear that it wasn't them.

On the Wednesday, Nov. 19 episode, the brothers finally confirmed the rumors.
“On Monday, we're also gonna be dropping a guest conversation with [sports broadcasters] Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson,” Jason said. “That's right, maybe two of the most demanded guests of all time.”
Travis agreed: “Erin and Charissa are so much fun, man. You guys are gonna love this.”
Jason doubled down on the hype, calling Andrews and Thompson "fantastically entertaining, knowledgeable, and charismatic.”

While the fantasy of a Taylor/Kylie sit down will have to wait (for now), Andrews and Thompson are arguably two of the most meaningful guests for Swifties.
Andrews and Thompson are cohosts of the Calm Down podcast, and were early supporters of the Travis and Taylor's romance.
Back in August 2023, Travis talked about making a friendship bracelet for Swift on New Heights during her Kansas City Eras Tour stop.
That's when Andrews became the best wingman ever: “Taylor, I don’t know what you are doing in your life right now besides rocking the world. Please try our friend Travis. He is fantastic,” she urged on an August 2023 episode of Calm Down. "Go on a date with this guy. Do it for America."
Thompson echoed the sentiment: "There’s no one that would give you a better time than this guy," she said.
Months later, when Swift and Travis connected, Thompson reposted the clip. Travis himself jumped into the comments with two laughing emojis, writing at the time: "I owe you big time."
The pair have remained close with the Kelces and with Swift, long after being a matchmaker. Andrews even scored Travis’ first post-engagement interview this fall.
Andrews, Thompson, Swift, and the Kelces have been a tight friend group for a while. As Thompson said earlier this year: “I’m not going to elaborate too much on it, other than saying [Taylor’s] a dream and I adore her and I’m so happy that they make each other happy.”
