He ranks second in the conference in rushing yards (1,136), behind Missouri’s Ahmad Hardy (1,346). He has formed a dynamic pairing with quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, who was named a Maxwell Award semifinalist last week. Together, they have the Rebels’ offense averaging 37.2 points per game.
Ole Miss (10-1, 6-1 SEC) still has a chance to play for the SEC Championship. However, the odds of that happening are slim. The Rebels would need to beat Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl and have both Auburn and Texas prevail over Alabama and Texas A&M, respectively, to reach Atlanta. If Lane Kiffin and Co. defeat the Bulldogs in their rivalry matchup, though, they’ll be headed to the College Football Playoff. The Egg Bowl kicks off at 12:00 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 28 (ABC).
