It’s only a matter of time before Coby White is splashing clutch threes as his luscious locks bounce in the wind.
For the first time since he attempted to ramp up ahead of the regular season tip-off, Coby White practiced in full with the Chicago Bulls. To be sure, the team has yet to announce a return date, but all signs seemingly point to the 25-year-old suiting up at some point over the next week. The only problem for the Bulls is that they are set to play an exhausting five games in seven days. There is no question that this will impact how they handle White’s immediate return, and fans can likely expect some built-in rest for the guard during this stretch. The other good news out of yesterday’s practice was that Josh Giddey also worked out with the team in full. The jumbo guard missed the Bulls’ last two meetings, which each resulted in a loss. Chicago even dished a season-low 21 assists during their disappointing defeat in Detroit on Wednesday. Chicago Bulls Injury Up A Coby White Return is Just Around the Corner The Chicago Bulls shared a few clips from practice, which featured our first real look at Coby White getting up and down the floor. He also continued to sound confident about immediately fitting back into what this team has built: “It’s been tough for me, but I’m just excited to have a chance to get back out there and play the game I love. I’m always looking through the game with a lens of how can I help? How can I impact winning in the team in a positive way? That’s how my mind is whether I’m playing or whether I’m not playing,” White says in the video.Gotta take care of business out West.@Gatorade | #SeeRed pic.twitter.com/AoHPKzpUT9

— chuck swirsky (@ctsbulls) November 15, 2025 I think social media has taken John Wall’s viral comments about Anthony Davis slightly out of context. I know, shocking! Many have shared the clip of him on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back, where he suggests that Anthony Davis may want to go back to his hometown (aka Chicago). However, I’m not sure Wall was actually sharing any direct knowledge or insight. If you really listen to the full comment, it sounds as if Wall could have merely been referring to all the online buzz around the topic. We saw plenty of fake trades over social media, as well as a top analyst like Zach Lowe throw around the idea.“You can’t believe everything you hear on the news, but you’ve been hearing he wants to go back to Chicago and see what’s going on. So I think they will try to blow it up, build around Cooper Flagg, get rid of the other pieces. But I have them as one of those darkhorse teams. If they can stay healthy, keep AD there, and let Kyrie come back, they could be one of those teams in the West.”
Many have conveniently left out the “you can’t believe everything you hear on the news” part when sharing the quote, which feels pretty darn important to me! So am I crazy for thinking that he is just speculating like the rest of us? Anyway, I shared a lot more thoughts on all the Davis chatter earlier this week. In short, this doesn’t feel like the right time nor the right move for this franchise. Manifesting Matas!Welcome to Matas Buzelis’ Ted Talk: pic.twitter.com/rv65c9uIwQ
