More than 35 local artists will sell their handmade goods at a winter market later this month.
The market will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 at the Atlas, 709 16th St., according to an Indie Arts Greeley Facebook post.
“This artisanal market is not your grandmother’s craft fair,” said local artist Dana Buckingham, who has participated in the event since 2016. “Think less Hallmark and more funky, fine art.”
The event will feature fine art prints, herbal remedies and sundries, custom apparel, stickers, up-cycled vintage lamps, hand-thrown mugs and much more, said Buckingham, who also serves as the marketing director for the Greeley Creative District.
University of Northern Colorado Lecturer and Director of Teacher Education Kelly Langley Cook has organized the event for the past decade.
