ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Repairs continued on Thursday following a major water main break near the corner of Culver Road and Meredith Street in Rochester.
The break occurred on Tuesday, releasing about 2 million gallons of water and flooding around 10 basements.

News10NBC spoke to one resident in the area whose furnace, washer, and dryer were destroyed due to being submerged in water.
Construction vehicles and cones blocked the dug-up portion of the street as crews worked to fix the damage. Officials have not yet provided a timeline for when the repairs will be completed.
