For a while, it looked like Jen and Zac Affleck, one of the most tumultuous couples on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, were headed for divorce. But not only did they stay together, they went on to expand their family!
News of Baby No. 3 broke in the middle of filming Season 2, while the two were still hashing out their problems, and it didn't help that Jen had become persona non grata in MomTok. "I’m very worried and stressed out, because bringing another human into this life is a lot," Jen said on camera. "I feel lost. I’m not sure if I want to be in the marriage anymore, and I definitely think that it is a wakeup call for me to really figure out what I want for this baby."
She eventually stepped away from filming to focus on her mental health, and gave birth to her third child with Zac this past summer. Keep reading for a complete guide to their family.

Did Jen and Zac have a third baby?
Yes. They learned they were expecting in the middle of filming The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 2, and the timing wasn't ideal, given the state of their marriage. "I'm sad for this child because I don't even know where my marriage is at," Jen said in a tearful confessional. "And so, I think, in this moment, I've kind of come to my breaking point." She took a break from the show to deal with her depression and anxiety.

“My baby Luca boy decided to join us a few weeks early. He is pure joy and has stole [sic] his Mamas [sic] heart,” Jen announced on Instagram.
According to Zac, Jen “tricked” him into Baby No. 2. "Jen, like, six months after she gave birth, she got pregnant again with our second baby," he said on The Viall Files. "I got tricked into it. She took out her IUD without telling me."
That admission aside, the father of three has been quick to gush over his son since the child was born.
“My little buddy is here,” he shared on Instagram upon Luca’s arrival. “I have dreamed of being a boy Dad my entire life. I can’t wait for all our adventures to come, my beautiful boy.”
Penelope (“Penny”)
Penny made her earth-side entrance in the summer of 2025. Jen announced her birth on July 2, sharing that she went “unmedicated” for the baby’s delivery and calling it “the most painful but empowering experience of my life.”

Jen started on DWTSeight weeks after giving birth to her daughter, Penny. "My body hurts. I'm still recovering from giving birth, but I'm having so much fun, and I'm doing it for my kids so in the future they can do this too," she told co-host Julianne Hough during the Season 34 premiere.
She also told People that, despite the challenges of being on the show while "still in the thick of postpartum," she was "grateful" to be on it during that time in particular. "I think if I didn't have Dancing with the Stars, I'd probably be dealing with baby blues and potentially postpartum depression, which can be the most challenging thing that you can experience after having a baby," she said.
"The way that I've coped through all of my babies has been through dancing, so the fact that I'm now dancing on a real stage in front of millions of people makes this experience even more exciting." She and partner Jan Ravnik were eliminated after the Halloween-themed episode.
