GENEVA, N.Y. — A 50-year-old convicted felon is facing more charges after Geneva Police say he left out cocaine, giving two minors access to it.
Police say it happened on Monday at around 3 p.m. They say they responded to Cherry Street in Geneva to help Finger Lakes Ambulance.
When they got there, police say they found out a 13-year-old ingested cocaine that was in the kitchen of the home.
Police say they also learned that Eric Guthrie left cocaine in the kitchen, making it accessible to the two minors in the house.
Guthrie was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and was brought to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment. Guthrie was released without bail and is expected to answer to the charges at a later date.
Both minors were checked out by ambulance and released to family members. Police say the Ontario County Protection Agency assisted them in this investigation.
