Greeley’s Proud American Military Veterans, or PAMVET, invites all area veterans to a weekly breakfast Saturday mornings at a local restaurant.
The kick-off breakfast will be held 8 a.m. Saturday at the Greeley Breakfast Club, 2109 9th St., according news releases by both Proud American Military Veterans and the Breakfast Club.
Each meeting will begin with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a prayer and an update with pertinent veteran information. After that, the veterans eat and get to know each other. Breakfast will cost $12.99 and include a coffee or a juice, the releases state.
There is no cost to veterans beyond the price of breakfast.
“The Greeley Breakfast Club is looking forward to partnering with our Veterans to provide a weekly meeting place for camaraderie and community,” the Breakfast club said in its release.
Proud American Military Veterans began in 2008 with just two World War II veterans, a release states. The organization also hosts a weekly breakfast at the Loveland Golden Corral, which routinely attracts 150-200 veterans.
