They emphasized clearing the way to the delivery of humanitarian aids, opening crossings, and enabling United Nations and relief organizations to perform their duties effectively.
The two ministers also discussed linking stability efforts in Gaza to a clear political horizon that would achieve a comprehensive and lasting peace based on the two-state solution.
Earlier in the day, King Abdullah II of Jordan, during his meeting with Cooper, reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for Syria’s security, stability, and territorial integrity.
