(KRON) — A man and woman were killed in a suspected murder-suicide in Fairfield Saturday.
Fairfield Police Department officers were called to an apartment on the 3700 block of Lyon Road around 3:03 a.m. after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. Police responded to the apartment and found the victims dead.
“Preliminary findings suggest this may have been an apparent murder-suicide; however the investigation remains ongoing with the official cause of death to be determined,” Fairfield PD said.
The deaths remain under investigation.
