SAN JOSE — A motorcyclist died Friday night in San Jose after colliding with another vehicle near San Jose High School, police said.
The motorcyclist, whom San Jose police identified only as a man, died after the collision, which happened around 5:48 p.m. near the intersection of 24th Street and Bulldog Boulevard, police said.
The intersection is adjacent to San Jose High.
The driver of the other vehicle, whom police also only identified as a male, stayed at the scene to cooperate with investigators, police said.
The drivers did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol, police said.
Police declined to provide further information about the fatal incident Saturday morning. Officials said more information would be available Monday.
