Lanes on the inbound Eisenhower Expressway were closed for several hours after a fatal crash Saturday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, the crash occurred near Kostner Avenue just after 3 a.m. Saturday.
Multiple individuals died in the crash, but state police did not have an immediate update on how many individuals were killed or injured in the wreck.
Traffic was diverted off the highway at Cicero while crews cleaned up the crash site and police investigated the collision. Those lanes have since reopened as of 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
