The high school football season has reached Week 10 and our crew at the Bay Area News Group is back for more picks.

Christian Babcock continues to lead Darren Sabedra by a game in the season standings. Nathan Canilao has moved to within five games of the lead after going 13-2 in Week 9.
This week’s lineup features only 14 games after Menlo School announced on Tuesday that it was forfeiting its game this week against Wilcox because it didn’t have enough healthy players.
The top games we picked include Clayton Valley Charter at Acalanes for the Diablo Athletic League Foothill Division title, Bishop O’Dowd at James Logan for the WACC Foothill Division crown, Christopher at Lincoln-San Jose, Archbishop Mitty at Archbishop Riordan and more.
In this week’s video podcast, the duo of Babcock and Sabedra discussed Menlo School’s forfeit and what it says about the state of high school football. They also looked ahead to the game between Clayton Valley and Acalanes and looked back at Monte Vista’s upset last week of previously undefeated California.
