The official date of Black Friday is Friday 28th November 2025.

The holiday always falls on the last Friday of November and the day after American Thanksgiving.

What date is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday takes place the following Monday, so 1st December 2025.

While Black Friday itself doesn't take place until the end of the month, most retailers run Black Friday sales throughout the whole of November.

However, retailers like AO, Boots and Currys have already gone live with their deals, and according to one study from Net Voucher Codes last year's sale started for some as early as 17th October, so you may have already snapped up a few Black Friday savings.

When should I start looking for Black Friday deals?

We'd suggest you start look at deals from the beginning of November. You can use these early weeks to start researching offers and making a list of what you want to buy.

But, you might want to wait until the week before Black Friday (17th - 23rd November) to start buying. By then, almost all retailers will have launched their sales, so you'll have the clearest picture of what the best offers are.

The Black Friday period will officially end on Monday 1st December to make way for the Cyber Monday sales.

In reality though, the whole Black Friday/Cyber Monday period now blends into one mammoth sale, with most of the deals spilling over even into December.
