Peter Criss has big news coming soon. The legendary original KISS drummer posted a Facebook reel on Oct. 27, teasing a Halloween announcement.
The clip, set to spooky music, features a pan of a nighttime city skyline that segues to a warehouse covered with cobwebs on a rainy night. A bolt of lightning illuminates the building’s name, Criss Incorporated, as supersized cat eyes watch over it.
The date "October 31, 2025" then flashes on the screen, as well as the names of record labels FlatIron and Silver Cat. An evil cackle rivaling Vincent Price’s “Thriller” laugh finishes off the clip.
“Hello KISS Army! Check this out!!! God Bless, Peter Criss,” the post was captioned.
Criss, 79, also tagged several people in the post, including Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, bassist Piggy D, guitarist John 5, drummer Mike Portnoy, bassist Billy Sheehan, bandleader Paul Shaffer, and Korndrummer Ray Luzier.

♬ sonido original - Peter CrissAll signs point to a new album that Criss previously teased in April. At the time, the legendary Catman told Rolling Stone that he would have new music coming out before the end of the year. “I want to let the Kiss Army and all my rock fans know that my new 'rock' album will be coming out this fall,” he said at the time.
“I’ve got some really great players on it: Michael McLaughlin, John 5 on lead and rhythm guitar, Billy Sheehan, Piggy D on bass, and Paul Shaffer on B3 and piano,” Criss revealed. “I am on vocals, drums, and percussion. I also have great backup singers, like Dennis and Sharron Collins and Cathryn Manning from the Cat 5 Band.”
“I had an absolute blast doing this album," Criss added.
Criss hasn’t released an album since 2007’s One for All, so this could be the Halloween treat that fans have been waiting for.
Halloween has always had a special place in KISStory. In 1976, KISS made their TV guest star debut on The Paul Lynde Halloween Special. The rockers played the songs “Detroit Rock City,” “Beth,” and “King of the Night Time World” for Lynde and “witchy” guests Margaret Hamilton and Billie Hayes.
And in 1979, the band, most notably late guitarist Ace Frehley, scared up some laughs in a highly publicized interview with Tom Snyder. With Criss as his wingman, Frehley stole the show and left Snyder in stitches during the TV interview that aired on Halloween that year.
