BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills are set to return to action on Sunday with added strength on the defensive side.
Rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston was activated from injured reserve, making him eligible to play in Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Hairston missed the first half of the season due to an LCL sprain.
Hairston, a first-round draft pick, expressed confidence in his readiness. “Now that I’m back out practicing, just treating practice like a game for real. So when I do get to the game that it just feels like a practice with the crowd and, just staying positive, but really just having a mindset of don’t let the guy to the left of me, the guy to the right of me down” Hairston said.
