Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz has shared an early prognosis on starting quarterback Beau Pribula’s leg injury that he sustained in the 17-10 loss at No.10 Vanderbilt. Pribula was carted off the field in an air cast in the third quarter after being tackled on a fourth-and-goal play.
The senior Pribula was replaced by freshman Matt Zollers for the remainder of the game.
During his postgame press conference, Drinkwitz indicated it “could be awhile” until the Pribula is back in the lineup. However, Drinkwitz noted that Pribula doesn’t have any broken bones. Pribula was on the sideline in crutches and a boot after exiting the game.

The York, PA native is a transfer from Penn State where he played the last 2 seasons. Pribula has already surpassed his entire amount of passing touchdowns with the Nittany Lions this season for the Tigers.
Pribula was regarded as a 4-star transfer and the No. 12 quarterback in the portal, according to 247Sports. Coming out of high school, Pribula was a 3-star prospect and the No. 14 ranked recruit from Pennsylvania.
Next up for Missouri is a home game vs. Texas A&M on Nov. 8.
