On Thursday, Oct. 23, many guests staying at Bay Lake Tower in the Magic Kingdom resort area at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, noticed a large police presence outside of the hotel. According to Inside the Magic, there is suspicion that a person was found deceased on the property.
At this time, neither the Orlando County Sheriff's Office nor Walt Disney World have confirmed what happened on property today.
Someone at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort recorded a video of emergency personnel standing outside, with caution tape closing off an area near the pool. The video was posted on TikTok.
"We woke up to a VERY large law enforcement outside our balcony this morning at Disney’s Bay Lake Tower. We were told it was a 'medical emergency.' Prayers to the family & those involved," the TikTok user captioned the post.

"Woke up to police tape around part of the back plaza, police presence and Disney suits everywhere, and a temporary tent covering something on the shuffleboard court. Cast members stationed in front of the window on each floor coming off the elevator to draw attention away from the view of the plaza area. Anyone know what happened?" one Redditor wrote, starting a new thread.
"Unfortunately, it's another deceased person," read one comment.
If this was, in fact, a death on Walt Disney World property, it would mark the third in just one week's time. On Tuesday, Oct. 21, a man was found dead at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
"A man in his 60s experienced a medical episode and was transported to a local hospital, where, unfortunately, he died. There are no signs of foul play," an Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson told the New York Post.
One week prior, Summer Equitz, 31, died by suicide at Disney’s Contemporary Resort — not too far from today's incident at Bay Lake — police confirmed in an email to Entertainment Weekly.
