SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- The San Francisco Fire Department is at the scene of a gas leak in the Mission District Friday morning that has triggered evacuations. The leak is in the area of Cumberland Street and Church Street, according to SFFD.
Where to find a ‘No Kings’ protest in the Bay AreaFive buildings immediately surrounding the area have been evacuated and others are being told to shelter in place, according to SFFD. The fire department is working with PG&E to contain the leak.
SFFD said a construction crew working in the area struck the gas line at 9 a.m. PG&E arrived about half an hour later. No injuries have been reported and none of the buildings have suffered any damages.
