Sept. 21
11:45 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported receiving a strange phone call saying someone had been in an accident, then a man came on the phone impersonating a police officer and asking for personal information.
12:45 p.m.: A caller in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue reported a group of people on the sidewalk doing drugs. The group flagged down the caller’s roommate and asked her to take videos of them shooting up before asking if the roommate would hook up with them.
Sept. 22
3:15 p.m.: A caller at a big box store in the 900 block of 47th Avenue reported two teenagers riding scooters inside and displaying “disruptive behavior.” The caller said they had gone in and out of the store three times in the past hour.
3:45 p.m.: A caller at a health clinic in the 5800 block of 13th Street reported a woman came in bleeding and the staff was unable to help. When the woman left, she put a knife in the trash can outside and the caller was unsure what to do with it.
9:45 p.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported a woman hiding in a neighbor’s trees across the street. When the caller confronted the woman, she said she wanted to talk to the kids and started laughing.
11:45 p.m.: A caller in the 1600 block of Habitat Lane reported a lot of people were walking and driving up and down the block. The caller requested extra patrols because the amount of people in the area was more than usual.
Sept. 23
7:45 p.m.: A caller at an unknown location reported kicking a parent out of a volleyball game for being drunk. The parent parked across the street, but the caller was worried about him driving children home after the game.
8:30 p.m.: A caller at a convenience store in the 4600 block of 20th Street reported a man came into the store with a gun in his back pocket. He didn’t make any threats, but it made the caller uncomfortable.
Sept. 24
3:00 a.m.: A caller at an unknown business reported a man came in earlier, started talking about being rude and commanding respect.
10:30 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported that he got a call about being investigated for money laundering in Texas and wanted to know if it was real or a scam.
10:30 p.m.: A caller in the 700 block of 8th Street reported a man had been sleeping for over a day. When the caller woke him up and asked him to leave, he said, “Draw your weapon and shoot me.”
11:15 a.m.: A caller at an unknown address reported her ex-husband wrote her an email pretending to be a lawyer asking for updates on their children.
