AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Multiple fire departments in Burnet County responded to a grass fire in between Burnet and Lake Buchanan Wednesday, according to the Burnet County Office of Emergency Management.
As of 8:40 p.m., the Williams Road Fire was at 50 acres burned and 0% contained, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service.
While the fire was not yet a threat to structures in the area, a neighborhood south of the fire was warned to be safe, according to Burnet County OEM.
Officials responded to that grass fire shortly before 6 p.m. near 1500 Williams Road, which is west of Burnet, the Spicewood Fire Department said on social media.
In addition to Spicewood FD, 10 Burnet County fire departments, the Texas A&M Forest Service, the Burnet County Sheriff's Office and a task force from Llano also responded, according to the Burnet County OEM.
