Southern California breweries win at the Great American Beer Festival ...Middle East

Nine breweries in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties took home gold at the Great American Beer Festival.

The event took place Oct. 9-11 in Denver, with 8,315 beers judged and 347 medals awarded to 273 breweries and cideries, according to the Brewers Association, which organizes the competition.

Here are the gold, silver and bronze medal winners in Southern California.
