The list reportedly includes all-rounder Curran, opener Conway, and trio Deepak Hooda, Vijay Shankar and Rahul Tripathi. The Kiwi batter featured in just 6 games for CSK in IPL 2025 and managed to score 156 runs. Curran played 5 matches in which he scored 114 runs and picked up one wicket. Tripathi, Hooda and Shankar’s form was awful which resulted in the batting order completely misfiring in IPL 2025.
CSK have already gained Rs 9.75 crore in their auction purse with the departure of Ravichandran Ashwin who announced his retirement from IPL earlier this year. Should the team decide to release these five players, they could further add a little over Rs 20 crore to their purse.
