It runs in the family.
Victor Wembanyama is not the only hooper in the family — just ask his sister Eve.
While the San Antonio Spurs star was busy growing even taller in the offseason, his sister has been putting on a clinic in Europe.
Eve went viral on social media this week after a standout performance in her EuroCup Women debut, where the 23-year-old posted 27 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Eve plays for Peja 03, one of the top teams in Kosovo’s Superliga. Their domestic success has earned them a place in the EuroCup, a prestigious continental competition.
If her debut is any indication of her potential, the sky’s the limit. And while she isn’t 7’5″ like her brother, she’s no slouch at 6’1″.
Fans in disbelief as Victor Wembanyama’s sister’s highlights go viral
After her viral debut, the internet couldn’t believe there was another Wembanyama dominating on the hardwood.
“This is getting out of hand, now there are two of them,” one fan posted on X.
“He has a sister? Full Wembenyama takeover of basketball,” another fan commented.
“Eve is reminding people that it is not just her brother Victor part of the growing Wemby dynasty,” one more fan chimed in.
Eve is rightly basking in the limelight after her debut, but soon enough, the spotlight will shift back to her younger brother.
Victor heads into Year 3 with high expectations as the Spurs open their season against first overall pick Cooper Flagg and the Dallas Mavericks on October 22.

Not only are Victor’s expectations through the roof, but so are his measurables. On the Spurs’ official site, Victor is listed at a towering 7 ft 5 in and 235 lbs, up from just 7 ft 3 in last year.
That should terrify the rest of the NBA.
The 21-year-old is coming off a season cut short by blood clots, during which he was the heavy favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year.
He heads into his third season once again as the runaway favorite—something he’s likely to be for the rest of his career.
The Spurs are hoping that their French phenom superstar can carry them back into the playoffs for the first time since 2019. The six-year playoff drought is the longest in franchise history.

San Antonio will also head into the season without former head coach Gregg Popovich for the first time since 1997. The legendary and future Hall of Fame coach retired from the sideline this past offseason due to health concerns but remains with the franchise as president of basketball operations.
Popovich holds the record for most regular season wins in NBA history with 1,422. The 76-year-old will now be watching from a suite as opposed to the bench.
He and the rest of San Antonio will be hoping Victor can restore the rich and proud basketball tradition in the Alamo.
