ROCHESTER, N.Y. – After yesterday’s cold front brought some much needed widespread rain to the area, we’re back to Green on the Threat Tracker and are greeted with much cooler weather. We were in the 80s this past weekend, but now we’ve got 50s in the forecast. Skies will gradually clear today, with highs just around 60 and northwest winds gusting to 20 MPH. Tonight we have frost advisories in several counties as low temperatures get down below 40 degrees in some spots.
Tomorrow we’re even cooler with highs in the upper 50s alongside more sunshine, then Friday morning will be chilly at THIRTY SIX degrees. Make sure to bring in any sensitive plants, because the frost is coming. Highs will slowly increase to the mid and upper 60s over the next few days. We rise to above normal temperatures by middle of next week. There is still some chance for rain on Saturday but chances are still low; we’ll continue to track that over the next few days so make sure to check back in.
