One of the major downsides of life as a public figure are the safety concerns that come with it, and Prince Harry had to face a major one more than once during his September trip to the United Kingdom.
According to The Telegraph, Harry, 41, experienced two close encounters with a known stalker of his while he was in London just a few weeks ago.

The first near-miss happened at the WellChild Awards on Sept. 9, when the stalker, a woman who may be suffering from mental health issues, was able to get in a "secure zone" close to Harry. On Sept. 10, she was photographed within feet of him a second time as he visited the Centre for Blast Injury Studies.
In a statement to People, a spokesperson for Harry said that they "do not comment on security issues."A security source told the outlet that there may be a "foreboding looming" over the issue of Harry's security detail while in the U.K.
"These incidents are not uncommon for members of the royal family," the source said. "It differs, however, because there was no police presence or close protection — it was left to two staffers from his private office to intervene. This time, they got lucky, recognizing the fixated individual. Relying on luck is not a long-term fix."
Prince Harry's Fight for More Security in the U.K.
After Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle walked away from royal life in 2020, they lost access to the level of security that they would have had while traveling around the U.K. if they were still working royals — something that Harry has been fighting for years at this point.
Harry's long-running security case came to an end in May, when three judges in a U.K. court denied his appeal.
As the BBC reported at the time, the battle first began when a committee called Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (known as Ravec) determined that his security needs weren't as great as they would be if he was living in the U.K. full time, though Harry argued that they hadn't properly assessed the true threat that he was under after leaving the royal family.
After the news broke, Harry told the BBC that the fight over security had "always been the sticking point" in his feud with his family, and said that the lack of security would prevent him from feeling comfortable about returning with his wife and their two young children, Archie and Lilibet.
"I can't see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the UK at this point," he said. "There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family."
In a statement about the outcome of the appeal, Buckingham Palace said, "All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion."
