ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 17-year-old is fighting for her life after a shooting on Sunday evening following a fight on Shelter Street off Genesee Street on the city’s southwest side.
Rochester Police say a woman, 23, was stabbed during the same fight but don’t believe the two victims injured each other. Officers responded to a report of a group fighting and a shooting just after 6 p.m. RPD arrived to find a teen with a gunshot wound to her lower body.
