Fairfield police on Saturday said that a motorcyclist died in a crash on Friday evening.
Around 6:45 p.m., officers began to receive calls about a solo-motorcycle crash near Noonan and Cement Hill Road.
Police said they arrived at the scene and found the rider seriously injured. He was then taken to a hospital but was later pronounced dead.
He was identified as a 52-year-old man. Police said his identity will be released once next of kin are notified.
