A bicyclist was seriously injured Friday when he collided with a trolley downtown east of the Santa Fe Depot.
The accident took place in the 100 block of West C Street shortly before 9:30 a.m. Friday, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Paramedics took the victim, believed to be about 50 years old, to UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest.
The bicyclist was being treated for a compound leg fracture, Officer David O’Brien said.
