Amador County, CA — Two Amador County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) deputies put their shooting skills to the test and walked away with a reward that they passed on to their four-legged deputies.
The 13th Annual Top Cop Challenge was held in August. ACSO Sergeant Kyle Wilson and Deputy Rick Tran competed as a team in the shooting competition, which brings together first responders from around the area. They competed for cash prizes that were then donated to organizations of their choice.
With a second-place team honors win, the pair, seen holding a check for $2,000 in the image box, selected the Amador County Deputy Sheriff’s K9 Fund as the recipient.
