Nina Dobrev is ready to turn a new leaf in this next chapter.
The actress, 36, took to Instagram on Oct. 2 and posted her first photo dump since she and Shaun White confirmed the ended their engagement on Sept. 11.
The carousel included several photos of Dobrev posing in a stunning floor-length black dress with a gold accent at the top. She paired the outfit with gold accessories, strappy heels to match, and completed the final look with a nude lip and a natural makeup.
She also included an adorable photo where she posed with actress Ashley Park, who wore a brown floor-length gown and paired it with a brown choker necklace.

Fans were quick to flood Dobrev's comments with praise over her "gorgeous" look and dress. They also welcomed her back to Instagram in response to the first post since her breakup.
Other fans commented that the Vampire Diaries actress channeled "Princess Diana 'revenge dress' vibes" with her gown and couldn't get enough of the look.
Others commented on her "post-breakup glow" and another fan even wrote that "she’s gonna be just fine" after her split from the 39-year-old Olympian.

Dobrev and White first met at met at a seminar for Tony Robbins in Florida and hit it off before they began dating in 2019. The pair quickly ended up moving in together during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

The couple later got engaged in October 2024, which they both shared to social media at the time. In her post on the engagement, Dobrev shared the romantic setup for the proposal with her followers on Instagram and captioned the sweet moment “RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé ?♾️.”

In a statement to PEOPLE Magazine in September, an insider told the outlet that "It was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.”

PEOPLE also reported that Dobrev attended the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 7 and walked the red carpet without White.
