Saturday’s Faith article “Black pastors say Charlie Kirk is not a martyr” is the AP’s latest attempt to sow discord. It was completely one-sided and only days after his brutal assassination with over half the nation grieving. You should not have printed it.
It made NO mention about Catholic Cardinal Timothy Dolan’s public statement that Charlie Kirk was a hero. After hearing about Charlie Kirk’s tragic death, Cardinal Dolan felt an overwhelming sense of sorrow, thinking, “I’ve gotta learn about this guy.” He continued, “The more I learned about him, I thought this guy’s a modern-day Saint Paul. He was a missionary, an evangelist, a hero.”
