American Pickers star Mike Wolfe sent a direct message to his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, while marking a major milestone—her birthday—just weeks after they were involved in a serious car crash.
On Wednesday, Oct. 1, Wolfe, 61, took to Instagram with a carousel of photos of himself and Cline, 47.

"Please join me in wishing @leticiacline a happy birthday," Wolfe began his birthday tribute. "As you know, things have been pretty tough lately. Tish has had to dig deep and find the light thru so much pain. Today, on her birthday, we will be spending time at follow-ups with doctors."
To conclude his tribute, the History Channel star declared, "The reality is things could have been worse and we’re still here. I feel blessed to share my life with this creative, smart, beautiful person. Look out world, you ain’t seen the last of this wild child yet! ❤️?."
For the featured image, Wolfe and Cline smiled while lying in bed with their dog, Francie. Many other shots feature him kissing her, the couple posing playfully in a photo booth and individual pictures of the birthday girl.

In the comments, Wolfe's followers followed his directions and joined him in wishing Cline a happy birthday as she continues to heal from the crash.

On Sept. 12, Wolfe and Cline were involved in a crash on a highway near Columbia, Tenn.
“A man driving an SUV pulled out from a side street, and we had little to no time to react,” Cline detailed in a Sept. 17 Instagram post, alongside graphic photos of her injuries. “We were in an old Porsche 356, with Mike driving, and although we were both wearing seatbelts, they were only lap belts. My side took most of the impact as Mike tried to swerve to miss the other driver.”
Wolfe was transported via ambulance to Vanderbilt Hospital, where he received stitches. He also suffered a broken nose and "heavy bruising to his face," but was released the next morning.
“He is incredibly lucky, as he broke the steering wheel and could have been impaled by the steering column,” Cline explained, as she and Mike shared a photo of the totaled vehicle.
Meanwhile, Cline was airlifted to the hospital and remained there until Sept. 16.
“My injuries are more extensive: a dislocated jaw that is also broken in three places, a broken sternum, broken ribs, collapsed lung, and bruising to my spine,” she explained on Instagram. “I’ve already had one procedure, and my major surgery is scheduled for Monday the 22nd. After that, I’ll leave with a wired jaw and a long road of rehab ahead.”

On Sept. 23, Cline returned to Instagram to share post-surgery photos. Her most recent update was posted via her Instagram Stories on Sept. 30.
"Had another checkup today. Trauma team today and plastics team tomorrow, my birthday," she wrote. "I've been trying to write an update, but my mind goes in and out with the brief numbness the pills offer and my eyesight isn't great right now since my nerves are trying to heal. Things like blinking and moving my face and lips [are] nearly impossible."
Hopefully, Cline continues her healing journey as smoothly as possible.
