Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab discussed on Tuesday with French Chargé d’Affaires Jean-Baptiste Favre ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation.
“Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Syria and France, particularly in security and police matters, as well as exchanging expertise” the Interior Ministry said on its Telegram channel.
“Talks aimed to promote security and stability and serve the shared interests of both countries” the Ministry added.
Deputy Minister of Interior for security affairs Abdelkader Tahan attended the meeting which was held at the ministry’s headquarters in Damascus.
