Strong winds and heavy rain could batter the UK in the aftermath of a powerful Atlantic hurricane and tropical storm with weather warnings in place this week.
Hurricane Humberto strengthened to Category Five, hitting speeds of up to 160mph on Saturday.
Over the weekend, it weakened slightly but remained a Category Four storm in the Atlantic, threatening Bermuda.
In Puerto Rico, boat users were warned of hazardous waters on Sunday, with Atlantic swells as high as eight feet.
Humberto, the third hurricane of the season, is expected to pass west of Bermuda on Monday and Tuesday, bringing bands of rain and strong winds.
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Imelda formed on Sunday and is expected to become the second hurricane to hit the Caribbean in days on a forecast track that could take it away from the US east coast early this week.

Imelda and Humberto were expected to interact – known as the Fujiwhara effect – and both turn north-eastwards away from the US by midweek.
The powerful winds being experienced across the Atlantic could trigger unsettled conditions in the UK later this week.
Yellow weather warnings for rain have been put in place from Wednesday until Friday in western Scotland.
A Met Office spokesperson told The i Paper: “While high pressure keeps the southeast settled with light winds and chilly nights, the northwest is seeing for a series of frontal systems bringing heavy rain and strong winds.
“The situation becomes more complex later in the week as tropical cyclones Humberto and Imelda currently over the southwest Atlantic influence our weather, increasing the risk of a deep low developing near the UK.
“If this materialises, we could see some very strong winds as well as further heavy rainfall Friday into Saturday, but at this time the development and track of this system remains uncertain. We’re monitoring this closely.”
From late Wednesday through to early Friday, two to three inches of rain are expected over west-facing mountains.
And from Tuesday through to early Friday, seven to 10 inches of rain are likely to build up over some mountain areas, with strong winds likely on Thursday.
Looking ahead to this weekend, the Met Office predicted “very disturbed weather for the British Isles” from Friday until 12 October.
There was the potential for very strong winds and further heavy rains in more northern areas.

“On balance, southern areas stand a better chance of seeing longer drier interludes. However, confidence in the details remains on the low side, owing to ongoing Atlantic tropical cyclone activity.”
Met Office meteorologist Honor Criswick said they were “keeping an eye” on Humberto and Imelda, adding the latter was more intense due to its location close to land.
Rain will turn heavy across the northwest through mid week with strong winds, especially on Friday.
Temperatures would remain close to average during the day and overnight frost could not be ruled out.
Last night saw temperatures in the UK dip to their coldest of the Autumn so far, with the mercury plunging to -3.6°C in Altnaharra in northern Scotland.
Sennybridge in Powys, Wales saw temperatures fall to 0.6°C while in England there were lows of 0.2°C in Shap, Cumbria.
