PCA MAKES HISTORY — Throughout the LONG and distinguished history of Major League Baseball, there have been just 73 individual seasons in which a player has hit both 30 home runs *and* stolen 30 bases (a.k.a. the 30-30 Club). Only 48 players have accomplished the feat. And only one of those players, Sammy Sosa, did it as a member of the Chicago Cubs. Until today.
PCA Joins 30-30 Club
After lingering in the upper 20s for longer than we all hoped, Pete Crow-Armstrong has FINALLY become the second Chicago Cub ever to hit 30 homers and steal 30 bases in a single season.

It’s fitting that PCA accomplished this feat the same year the Cubs FINALLY welcomed back Sammy Sosa, who accomplished the feat twice, himself, in 1993 and 1995. But that’s just baseball for ya. It can be beautiful and poetic.
2025 was a chaotic, uneven season for Pete Crow-Armstrong, with the highest of highs and some more recent, frustrating lows. But now, because of this historic accomplishment, it’ll be one we remember fondly for a very long time.
