SAN JOSE — A three-alarm fire that broke out in an apartment complex Thursday evening displaced 75 residents, authorities said.
The blaze, which was reported to firefighters shortly after 5 p.m., began as a two-alarm attic fire impacting three units, according to a social media post from the San Jose Fire Department.
The fire was upgraded to a third alarm at 5:39 p.m., authorities said. Firefighters knocked down the blaze at 6:12 p.m. and got it under control at 7 p.m.
