How to vote in Strictly Come Dancing 2025

Strictly Come Dancing is back for a brand new series this year, with a star-studded cast ready to give it their all on the dance floor in the hopes of impressing audiences at home as well as the panel of judges.

This year's starry line-up includes the likes of Vicky Pattison, Stefan Dennis and the recently announced Amber Davies, who has been announced as Dani Dyer's replacement after the TV personality was forced to withdraw from the competition due to injury.

"This has been the craziest 24 hours of my life. I’ve watched Strictly with my family since I was younger and to now be part of the show is a dream come true," said Amber.

"I’m going to give it my all and I am sending Dani well wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope I do her proud."

Amber, along with the 14 other celebrities will be performing during the first live show of the series, but thankfully they will be able to avoid the public vote.

But for audience members keen to get ahead and prepared to vote next week, read on for everything you need to know.

How to vote online for Strictly Come Dancing

When the vote opens, head on over to the Strictly homepage, where you'll find the vote at the top of the page.

You can vote online on the Strictly homepage, or by scanning the QR code available on their website – which will be displayed on screen during the show. Online voting can be done by a mobile phone, tablet or computer.

Before you can vote, you need to be signed into your BBC account. If you voted last year, providing you're using the same device, you should still be signed in and ready to vote.

But if you have never voted before, you will need to register for a BBC account in order to vote.

Once the vote is open, the couples will be listed in alphabetical order.

You can cast your votes by selecting your favourite duo by clicking the plus icon next to their name so that a 1 appears in the box between the plus and minus icons.

Once you've allocated all your votes, you won't be able to press the plus icon anymore. If you're happy with your votes, then click 'Submit X votes' at the bottom of the page. Once submitted, the votes cannot be changed.

Voting for the 2025 series is not yet open. But in previous years, voting opens once every couple has performed, so keep your eyes peeled!
